Here at Shirley Shelley Cleaners, we have been cleaning carpets in offices and workplaces since 1982. All our employees are highly trained and fully qualified. We use Eco-Friendly products and recycle wherever possible.
We are prepared to work out of hours and weekends as per our 24/7 commitment to our customers, which allows normal operations to continue with no impact on the smooth running of their business.
We have a fleet of professional carpet machines for all sizes ranging from a truck mounted unit all the way down to a small hydromist extraction machine.
There are two main techniques to carpet cleaning which we offer;
We use this technique for frequently used premises, i.e. where the customer cannot have wet carpets for any long periods of time, e.g., Communal Corridors in Hospitals and Care Homes etc. This method offers a swift and discrete less-intrusive, quieter way of maintaining carpets enabling the customer to continue their normal operation.
Option 1: Scrubber Extraction Method:
This is used in “large open plan” areas where carpets have been subjected to heavy foot traffic overtime, in places such as Airports, Waiting Rooms, Lecture Halls etc. This process injects a fine mist of water and eco friendly products which is immediately followed by an integral cylindrical power brush (which agitates the pile) and then by a two stage vacuum (suction) process which lifts the dirty water into a confined tank into the machine.
Option 2: Hydromist Extraction Method:
This machine is slightly smaller than the one used above, but it allows us to work around obstructions within the confines of the area such as furniture, desks, cabinets, chairs etc. This method injects a fine mist of water and eco-friendly product down the lance of the machine and at the same time the two stage vacuum (suction) extracts the water up the wand into the machine’s confined tank.
Option 3: Bonnet Buff Method:
This process is used on lightly soiled carpets where a deeper clean is not required. We use this where the customer has the carpets cleaned a more frequently than just a one-off. This process is the most eco-friendly as it uses far less water than any of the other methods mentioned above.
